1. INTRODUCTION & BINDING AGREEMENT
Welcome to CFGMOD. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") govern your access to and use of our websites, online stores, digital platforms, and the purchase of any automotive modification parts, components, accessories, or services (collectively, the "Products") offered by CFGMOD (referred to as "we", "us", or "our").
By accessing our websites, browsing our product catalogs, registering an account, or placing an order for any Product, you (referred to as "Customer", "Buyer", or "User") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and unconditionally agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, alongside our Privacy Policy and Shipping & Return Guidelines. If you do not agree with all provisions contained herein, you must immediately cease all use of our websites and refrain from purchasing any Products.
2. ELIGIBILITY & USER ACCOUNTS
2.1 Eligibility Requirements
To use our websites and purchase Products from CFGMOD, you must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your applicable jurisdiction) and possess the legal authority, right, and freedom to enter into a binding agreement. If you are purchasing on behalf of a business entity, automotive workshop, or corporate body, you represent and warrant that you have the lawful authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2.2 Account Security
When you create an account on our platforms, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the strict confidentiality of your account credentials, including your username and password. You accept full responsibility for all activities, transactions, and orders that occur under your account. CFGMOD reserves the right to suspend, terminate, or restrict accounts at our sole discretion if fraudulent, unauthorized, or abusive activity is suspected.
3. PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS, MATERIALS & CUSTOMIZATION
3.1 Aftermarket Automotive Parts
CFGMOD specializes in high-performance automotive exterior components, aerodynamic kits, widebody flares, custom bumpers, carbon fiber weaves, and Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP / glass fiber) products. You acknowledge that our Products are specialized aftermarket components designed for motorsport, track, and customized street applications.
3.2 Material Characteristics & Finishes
-
Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP / Glass Fiber): Products manufactured from FRP typically arrive in a raw gel-coat finish (commonly white or black high gloss/primer). These parts are intended for custom modification builds.
-
Carbon Fiber: Our carbon fiber components feature a high-gloss UV-resistant clear coat. Due to the handcrafted nature of composite manufacturing, minor weave variations, pinholes, or parting lines may occur naturally and do not constitute manufacturing defects.
3.3 Product Modifications & Disclaimer
Modifying vehicles involves inherent risks. CFGMOD products may alter the factory weight distribution, ground clearance, aerodynamics, and crash safety ratings of your vehicle. It is the Customer's sole responsibility to ensure that any Product purchased complies with all regional, state, national, and international laws, vehicle safety regulations, and highway codes before operating the vehicle on public roads.
4. PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION MANDATE
4.1 Expert Body Shop Requirement
All CFGMOD aerodynamic parts, body kits, widebody fenders, bumpers, hoods, and carbon fiber components require professional installation by an experienced custom automotive body shop.
4.2 Test-Fitting and Adjustments
Aftermarket body panels do not always fit identically to original factory (OEM) equipment straight out of the box due to vehicle manufacturing tolerances, previous accident history, or chassis flex.
-
Dry Fitting Required: The installer must perform a complete dry-fit test before applying paint, wraps, or permanent adhesives.
-
Minor Adjustments: Trimming, sanding, shimming, fiberglass smoothing, or custom alignment are standard procedures in custom automotive modifications and are the sole responsibility of the installer and Customer.
-
CFGMOD explicitly disclaims any liability, financial responsibility, or warranty claims arising from damage caused by improper installation, amateur handling, failure to dry-fit, or lack of professional body shop execution.
5. PRICING, CURRENCY & PAYMENT TERMS
5.1 Pricing Accuracy
All prices listed on our platforms are subject to change without prior notice. While we make every effort to ensure that all pricing displayed across our websites (cfgmod.com, cfgcar.com, and authorized partner channels like AliExpress) is accurate, errors may occasionally occur. If we discover a pricing error on an item you have ordered, we will notify you promptly and provide the option to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.
5.2 Accepted Payment Methods
-
Retail Orders: Processed securely through our official websites or verified partner storefronts using credit/debit cards, PayPal, and approved online payment gateways.
-
Wholesale & Bulk Orders: Payment terms depend on order volume and scale. We routinely accept direct bank wire transfers (T/T), Letters of Credit (L/C), Western Union, MoneyGram, and fast regional channels including Alipay, WeChat Pay, or cash deposits. Standard bulk terms typically require an upfront deposit (e.g., 50% or 100% in advance) prior to manufacturing commencement, with remaining balances settled prior to shipment. All terms remain negotiable upon direct written agreement.
5.3 Taxes, Duties & Customs Fees
Product prices displayed on our platforms generally exclude international customs duties, local import taxes, Value Added Tax (VAT), goods and services taxes (GST), and brokerage clearance fees. The Customer is exclusively responsible for paying all import tariffs, customs duties, and compliance fees levied by their respective destination country's customs authorities.
6. ORDER PROCESSING, LEAD TIMES & PACKAGING
6.1 Manufacturing Lead Times
Because many of our specialized carbon fiber and fiberglass items are produced in specialized batches or built-to-order, lead times vary depending on stock availability, seasonal production volume, and order size.
-
Standard retail items: Processed and dispatched within standard operational windows.
-
Bulk, wholesale, or custom-molded orders: Require extended manufacturing lead times, which will be communicated during order confirmation.
6.2 Professional Packaging Standards
CFGMOD employs rigorous multi-layer protective packaging protocols to safeguard fragile composite parts during transit:
-
Individual wrapping in protective white foam and durable poly bags.
-
Secondary secure wrapping in high-grade bubble cushioning.
-
Encasement in heavy-duty exterior corrugated export cartons.
-
Reinforced carton corner protectors applied where necessary to mitigate impact risks.
7. SHIPPING, LOGISTICS & DELIVERY POLICIES
7.1 Freight Options
Depending on the physical dimensions, volumetric weight, destination, and order quantity, shipments are dispatched via various logistical channels, including:
-
International Express Couriers (DHL, FedEx, UPS, EMS)
-
Air Cargo services
-
Full Container Load (FCL) or Less than Container Load (LCL) ocean freight for bulk wholesale distribution.
7.2 Estimated Delivery Windows
-
Express & Air Cargo: Typically requires approximately 10 to 15 business days in transit, subject to customs inspection clearance.
-
Sea Shipping / Ocean Freight: Transit times vary significantly based on destination port location, vessel scheduling, and maritime logistics.
7.3 Inspection Upon Delivery & Freight Damage Claims
The Customer or recipient must inspect all packages thoroughly in the presence of the delivery driver or carrier agent before signing and accepting delivery.
-
If external carton damage, crushing, punctures, or tearing is observed, note the damage explicitly on the carrier's delivery receipt and take photographic evidence immediately.
-
Any concealed damage or transit breakage must be reported to CFGMOD in writing within 48 hours of delivery, accompanied by clear photos of the packaging and damaged components, to enable us to file an insurance claim with the freight carrier. Failure to report transit damage within this timeframe may void eligibility for damage compensation.
8. RETURNS, EXCHANGES & REFUND POLICY
8.1 Return Eligibility Criteria
Due to the custom, delicate, and specialized nature of automotive body kits and carbon fiber components, returns are strictly regulated:
-
Custom & Modified Orders: Custom-fabricated parts, special carbon weave configurations, or items altered, painted, drilled, or installed by the customer are strictly non-refundable and non-returnable.
-
Unused Retail Items: Standard unused, unpainted items in their original packaging may be considered for return within 14 days of delivery, subject to prior written authorization (RMA) from CFGMOD.
-
Restocking Fees: Approved returns of non-defective items are subject to a mandatory restocking fee (typically up to 20% of the purchase price) to cover handling, inspection, and warehouse processing, and the Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
8.2 Defective or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is demonstrably defective upon arrival (excluding transit damage governed by Section 7.3) or incorrect due to a fulfillment error on our part, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery with detailed photographic proof. Upon verification, CFGMOD will coordinate replacement parts, exchange logistics, or appropriate remedy resolutions.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
9.1 Ownership of Content
All content, designs, graphics, user interfaces, product photographs, branding elements, trademarks, logos, video media, text descriptions, and source code featured on cfgmod.com, cfgcar.com, and associated marketing channels are the exclusive intellectual property of CFGMOD or its licensors.
9.2 Strict Prohibition of Unauthorized Use
You are strictly prohibited from reproducing, distributing, modifying, transmitting, displaying, publishing, selling, or exploiting any intellectual property, product designs, or brand assets belonging to CFGMOD without our express, prior written consent. Unauthorized commercial use of our media or brand assets will result in immediate legal action.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
10.1 Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, all products and services provided by CFGMOD are delivered on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.
10.2 Limitation of Damages
In no event shall CFGMOD, its directors, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, vehicle downtime, mechanical failure, professional installation labor costs, towing fees, or personal injury arising out of or in connection with the purchase, installation, or use of any CFGMOD products. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your purchase shall under no circumstances exceed the total monetary amount actually paid by you to CFGMOD for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
11. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CFGMOD, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, debt, and expenses (including reasonable legal and attorney's fees) arising directly or indirectly from:
-
Your violation of any provision of these Terms and Conditions.
-
Your misuse of any Product, including track use, racing events, or illegal street operation.
-
Improper installation, failure to adhere to professional body shop guidelines, or modification of any Product.
-
Your violation of any third-party right, intellectual property right, or regional traffic/safety legislation.
12. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
12.1 Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions, and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Products, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which CFGMOD operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
12.2 Dispute Resolution & Good Faith Negotiation
In the event of any controversy, claim, or dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, product orders, or transactions, the parties shall first attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute amicably through direct commercial negotiation. If an amicable settlement cannot be reached within thirty (30) days of formal written notice, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the competent courts having jurisdiction over our primary operations.
13. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS & CONDITIONS
CFGMOD reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to update, amend, modify, or replace any portion of these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting updates on our websites. It is your responsibility to check our websites periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our platforms following the posting of any modifications constitutes full acceptance of those revised Terms.
